Experience

Kishor has over 30 years of experience in the accounting and auditing of a wide variety of SMEs, including the technology, charity, leisure and property sectors.He has worked on:

• Property groups with an asset base exceeding £100M
• A technology group providing cloud-based solutions and a Microsoft trusted partner
• Charities – including a charity involved in equality for women and several independent schools.
• Golf and country clubs

He focuses on supporting meeting client compliance requirements efficiently and and helpfully so that they can achieve their business goals.

Achievements

• Advised a marine consultancy client to claim their Research & Development tax credits efficiently.
• Fought a tax investigation case against a property client. His analysis going back several years and responding to HMRC in a balanced and timely way resulted in substantially reducing the tax, interest and penalties claimed by HMRC.
• Liaised with a major player in the cosmetics market who were purchasing a client company. He ensured there was a smooth transition post-takeover and that correct balances were implemented in the takeover document.
• Helped several clients in moving to computerised accounting software.
• Mentored a non-accounts graduate for two years which resulted in the graduate learning the basic principles of accounting through to the production of full statutory account.

Personal

In his spare time Kishor likes to play as well as watch football. He enjoys classical Bollywood and pop music.
